Each of the services listed below can be offered on a stand alone basis or as a combination:
Q: Why use an interior designer?
A: An interior designer can help you to save time and money by interpreting your requirements to develop a cohesive scheme and avoiding costly mistakes by tapping in to their experience and expertise.
Q: Does interior evolution have a signature style?
A: No, the challenge is to interpret a client’s individual tastes. That said, specific learnings can be applied to a variety of projects.
Q: How do I get the most from a interior designer?
A: Provide your interior designer with as much information as possible about your lifestyle, ideas, likes and dislikes. Open communication with your interior designer throughout the project will ensure that there are no surprises at the end. Be receptive to their ideas, enabling you to benefit from their experience.
Q: What sort of fees can I expect?
A: interior evolution charges in a variety of ways, based on a fixed fee, hourly rate, percentage of budget, or a combination. Fees are flexible depending on whether you require a complete interior design service or separate elements such as furniture layouts, colour schemes, etc. Following on from your initial consultation, you will receive a written proposal outlining the fee structure ensuring clarity from the outset.
Q: How long does a project take?
A: This depends on the nature of the project, your timescales and your availability to make decisions at key points during the process.
Q: Do I need to supply the initial designs?
A: It is a good idea to give your interior designer some clues as to your taste – pictures from magazines, identification of favourite pieces of furniture or artwork that you would like to keep – but one of the biggest benefits of employing a interior designer is that you can tap into their creativity.
Q: What assurances do I have if something goes wrong with the project? Are you insured?
A: Yes, all BIDA Designer Members must have Professional Indemnity Insurance.
"Madeleine was very helpful in making recommendations, plus sourcing and negotiating with suppliers and
co-ordinating the dates for the work to be carried out. We are delighted with the results of the project, which have been much admired!"
